Supremacy Funerals is Penrith's longest-running funeral home. We're at 98 Station Street and have been part of this community since 1855, when we first opened as John Price & Sons. Three generations later, Donna, Belinda, and Fiona are still here, looking after families in Penrith and across Western Sydney the same way the business always has - personally.

When you come to us, you're not dealing with a corporation or a call centre. You're sitting down with a family who understands what you're going through, because we've helped thousands of Penrith families through the very same thing. We'll take care of everything, at your pace, with no pressure.

Penrith has grown into the heart of Western Sydney, but it's still very much a community of its own. The families who live here come from every background - long-time local families whose grandparents knew ours, newer arrivals from across Australia and overseas, families with deep ties to the Catholic and Anglican parishes, and families of every faith and culture. We've served all of them, and we make sure every service reflects what matters to the family we're working with.

Our Services

We offer funeral services to suit your family's wishes, budget, and cultural needs:

  • Cremation services - from simple cremations to full chapel services followed by cremation
  • Traditional burials and funeral services - church services, chapel services, and graveside farewells
  • Chapel services - held at our Penrith chapel or at crematorium chapels across Sydney
  • Memorial services - for families who wish to hold a service after a private cremation or burial
  • Pre-paid funeral plans - lock in today's prices and take the burden off your family
  • All religions and cultures - including Greek Orthodox, Hindu, Pacific Island, Catholic, and Anglican traditions

Local Facilities in Penrith

Penrith has good access to funeral facilities, and we work with all of them. We handle the logistics so you don't have to.

  • Penrith Cemetery (Borec Road) - one of the area's oldest burial grounds, with both lawn and monumental sections. We arrange all cemetery bookings, plot selection, and council paperwork on your behalf, and we can organise graveside services here with gazebo and chairs if you'd prefer not to hold a chapel service first.
  • Nepean Hospital - when a loved one passes at Nepean, our team can be there quickly to bring them into our care. We deal with all the hospital paperwork and transfers, and we can coordinate directly with hospital staff so the family isn't caught up in logistics at a hard time.
  • St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church (High Street) - regularly used for Catholic funeral masses. We coordinate with the parish priest directly, handle the booking, and we're familiar with how services run there, including Greek Orthodox and other Catholic-rite variations.
  • St Stephen the Martyr Anglican Church - Penrith's Anglican parish church and a popular choice for traditional church funerals. We work with the rector to arrange the service and can provide all the supporting elements - booklets, music, slideshow, and the procession to the crematorium or cemetery afterward.
  • Our Chapel - our own chapel at 98 Station Street, suitable for services of any size. It's a comfortable, dignified setting, and for families who want livestreaming to interstate or overseas relatives, we have that capability built in.
  • Pinegrove Memorial Park (Minchinbury, 20 minutes) - the most commonly used crematorium for Penrith families. It has several chapel sizes, from small intimate services to larger gatherings, and the grounds are well-kept for families who want time after the service.
  • Castlebrook Memorial Park (Rouse Hill, 25 minutes) - a popular alternative in Sydney's north-west, chosen by families who prefer its grounds or have other family connections to the area.

Common Choices for Penrith Families

Every family is different, but certain patterns come up often when we're helping Penrith families plan a service. These are some of the most common:

  • A chapel service followed by cremation - often held at our own Penrith chapel, with cremation at Pinegrove. This covers most of our Orchid, Rose, and Lily packages.
  • A church service followed by burial or cremation - for families connected to St Nicholas, St Stephen's, or one of the other local parishes.
  • A direct cremation with a memorial held later - the simplest and most affordable path, chosen when families want time to plan a memorial separately, or when relatives need to travel from interstate or overseas.
  • A graveside service at Penrith Cemetery - a quieter option for families who'd rather gather at the burial site than in a chapel.

If none of these feel quite right, we'll tailor something specific to your family. There's no script - it's your service.
